The video-protecting software, Video Padlock, encrypts and locks your video files, making them inaccessible to the unauthorized. It encrypts your files using a 128-bit ARC4 encryption process, which is the same process used by governments around the world. Its new version is able to encrypt all file types, including text, audio, and video files. With this software, you can lock your video files and keep them safe from prying eyes.
Once you have installed Video Padlock, you can play and delete your videos. If you accidentally lock a video, you can re-enter the password to unlock it. When you have finished watching a video, you can unlock it by clicking on the green button on the lock icon. You can also change the password for restoring the original extension. In order to remove a file from the list, you must first un-lock the video.
Once the file has been locked, you must open the program to unprotect it. You can also choose to unlock it later. To view your encrypted video files, you must select the videos and click the "Unlock" button. If you accidentally delete the video, the password will remain in place. Once you've set the password, simply go to the videos folder and double-click the file to play it. If the file has been protected with Video Padlock, you'll be prompted to enter the password again each time you open it.
